Privacy Policy

The short version: your data is yours. BookKit was built so your business never has to live on someone else's server.

The short version

The app has no server. Clients, appointments, invoices, and reports live in BookKit on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. We can't read them, sell them, or lose them — they never leave your device unless you export them yourself.

No account, no tracking. BookKit doesn't ask you to sign up, doesn't tag analytics to your usage, and doesn't embed advertising or tracking SDKs.

What BookKit stores, and where

Everything you enter — client details, appointment history, notes, services, invoices — is stored on-device. App locking with Face ID or Touch ID protects that data behind your biometrics.

Backups exist only when you create them. You choose where the backup file goes — save it to Files, AirDrop it to a new device, keep it on a drive. BookKit doesn't upload backups anywhere, and we never receive a copy.

Two-way Apple Calendar sync moves appointment data between BookKit and the Calendar app on your own devices, through Apple's calendar storage under your Apple ID. That exchange is governed by Apple's privacy policy; BookKit doesn't sit in the middle of it.

App Store purchases

The one-time upgrade is processed entirely by Apple through App Store payment. BookKit never sees your name, payment details, or billing address. Purchase restoration uses your Apple ID on your device.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ads. When you load a page, your browser downloads the Geist typeface from Google Fonts, which means Google sees the request (including your IP address). No other third-party requests are made.

Support form

If you contact us through the support page, your name, email, topic, and message are collected through Netlify Forms, stored in Netlify's submission database, and forwarded to the BookKit support inbox so we can reply. We use it only to answer your request and keep the thread, and we don't add you to any list. Please don't include client data or other sensitive information in support messages — with BookKit, there's no reason you'd need to.

Children

BookKit is a tool for service businesses and isn't directed at children. Since all data stays on the owner's device, the app doesn't collect personal information from anyone — of any age.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the date above. The app itself will keep working the same way it always has: on your device, under your lock.
